I have noticed I can't sit still unless my hands are moving. So, if we watch a movie I am either knitting or crocheting. A couple of years ago I decided that I was going to learn how to knit. I have been crocheting for years. (since I was about 11 years old) But, my Grandma Coates makes to most beautiful knitted things. So, I got on the internet and found some great info then I called my Grandma and she gave me some great pointers and away I went. I made Wade an afghan. An I'll tell you what, I never want to make another afghan that you have to sew all those dumb squares together AGAIN! I also experimented on dish clothes. I kind of went nuts on that one.
